As a Game Master (GM), you lie at the heart of Many Isles' activities. Our community wouldn't exist without you! Accordingly, we have a modest but growing selection of resources available to you.
¶ Becoming a GM
It's easy to start running games. Whether you want to run D&D, onepage rpgs, are a total beginner or veteran, or even want to run a "board RPG", the socials are a perfect place to do so (and try out wonky new ideas).
You can reserve a spot for your game using the games form. We also have a friendly channel for GMs on Discord. Get the GM role under "Channels & Roles", or just express your interest and we'll assign it to you.
¶ Materials
All materials can be "ordered" for a Social by writing in the GM channel on Discord.
We currently have a small stock of shared material resources:
- GM Screens
- Grid battlemaps
- Player gear (dice, pencils, etc.)
- Tile maps, to set up a grid mattlemap
- Monster cards for D&D 5e, MM CR 0 - 16
¶ Digital Resources
We have premade character sheets and a selection of (primarily D&D) materials and adventure modules available on the drive.
Caution: use these resources with moderation, and do not share them beyond the circle of GMs.
¶ Wishlist
We're always happy to purchase some extra materials. You can express your interest in some missing item, and we might use association funds to complement our shared stock.
